You can’t get much more local than this bike parts supplier located in Victoria. As a supporter of small businesses, we’re happy to be able to promote NCS as a tournament donor. Thanks Pete Brown!

Bocca, one of our favourite local cafes (about 2 blocks from the polo house) will be donating some goodies to the tournament pile. I’d recommend visiting them for your morning after fix of tasty and/or caffeinated things. They also have a variety of gluten free options too.

Many thanks to Pacific Rim Bikes for their continued support of Nanaimo Bike Polo. From the beginning this is where we went to fix our broken polo things. They will be putting together a prize pack for us too.

Whenever someone comes to Nanaimo that has never been here before, Pirate Chips is one of the first places I take them to. There is simply nothing else like it. Deep fried everything. A variety of fries, fish, burgers and deep fried chocolate bars! Its the perfect refueling stop after a long polo sesh. Approved by Nanaimo Biker Poloers!

Arrowsmith Bikes will once again be throwing together a prize pack for our tournament. Special thanks to our polo brethren Mark Wieler for hooking it up.

For a while now, I’ve been interested in an alternate foot retention system for polo that didn’t require special shoes, and after looking into it some more and watching this sick video featuring Michael Chacon I decided that Hold Fast would definitely be the folks to look to. Gratefully, Rob at Hold Fast is going to be sending us a prize pack for the tournament, so somebody will get to enjoy some of their swag.

Last year when we approached Randy, the Manager at Quality Foods, he seem really excited by the prospect of this game which he apparently used to play when he was a kid. We’re glad to announce that QF has decided to pitch in some more food for us this year to fill all your hungry polo-playing bellies!
